This is where we'll announce the most recent
additions to our web site. If you've visited us before and want to know what's
changed, take a look here first.
Because our deconstruction efforts are expanding we are
currently modifying a 1,400 square foot warehouse area within the
REUSER
site
at 422 SE 2nd Street, Gainesville, FL.
We are adding a 1500 gallon caustic soda vat in
which we will be able to strip large pieces of
pine and cypress woodwork. This area will also house our new show room of both
architectural and art inspired recycled creations along with a wood working shop
to repair and re-design salvaged items.

- Church on the Move, The Gainesville Sun, May 4, 2006. This was a
massive undertaking using much machinery and manpower. The community
response was very positive. Original area of this sanctuary of the
University United Methodist Church here in Gainesville, Florida was 4,000
square feet. We have lots of salvage from this structure (1956) and the
original church (1941) including pews, oak planks, cypress lumber and trim,
stained glass windows, paving bricks and much more. All of these items
are explained and shown on this website.
- Chapel's Arches Saved During Demolition,
The Gainesville Sun, April 8, 2006. This delicate operation involved
Jake and Mike and their son's Justin and Robin along with a very skilled
track hoe operator, Kevin Wells. During a two day period all four of the
massive cut stone arches of the University United Methodist Church were
separated and lowered to the ground. The Bearded Bother have since sold the
arches.
- Construction Debris Finds A New Home,
The Gainesville Sun, February 12, 2006. This article details the
end use of construction debris from the three major
construction projects currently on going in Gainesville.
